Representation of families

Our adult-aged kids can do the darndest things, including causing your legitimately earned property to be seized, restrained, and forfeited to the crown if the police can demonstrate your adult child having an interest in property you own, or they can demonstrate that your adult child has effective control of your property. Under the New Zealand proceeds of crime regime, the Commissioner of Police can also ask the High Court to look past legal structures (like companies and family trusts) to get at your property too. You might want to watch our video on the hidden victims of the proceeds of crime regime below.

We are most suited representing family groups who are joined to the same proceeds of crime proceeding/s or related proceedings. It is important that all family members share the same interests in the proceeding and there is no appearance of conflicting interests.
